The X / Twitter Scraper pulls tweets from a profile or a search query into structured rows. Enter a handle (e.g. "openai") and get up to 200 recent tweets with engagement metrics. Enter a search query ("llm news") and get the latest matching tweets from across the platform.

It's built for brand monitoring, trend research, and content analysis without the friction of Twitter's official API. Marketers use it to track competitor activity and campaign reach. Analysts use it to snapshot public conversations around events. Researchers use it to build time-bounded datasets of what the platform is discussing.

Each tweet comes back with text, author handle, timestamp, like/retweet/reply counts, and a direct URL — enough to feed analytics dashboards, export to CSV for spreadsheets, or use as grounding for downstream AI workflows.

How it works

  1. Pick Profile mode (enter a handle like "openai") or Search mode (enter a query like "llm news").
  2. Start the scrape — up to 200 tweets stream in with live progress.
  3. Review results in the table with row-expand to see full tweet text and engagement metrics.
  4. Download as JSON (full fidelity) or CSV (flat, spreadsheet-ready).
  5. Find previous runs in your gallery under the Scraping tab.

Use cases

  • Monitor a competitor's posting frequency and top-engagement tweets.
  • Snapshot public reaction to a product launch, news event, or cultural moment.
  • Research how a topic is trending by pulling the latest matching tweets.
  • Build a dataset of brand mentions for sentiment analysis.
  • Audit your own account's recent posts for a monthly content review.
  • Collect authentic user language to inform copy, landing pages, or ads.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need my own X/Twitter API key?

No. The scraper uses dedicated infrastructure — you only need a CreatorHub account with credits.

What fields are included per tweet?

Tweet ID, full text, author handle, author name, follower count, created-at timestamp, like count, retweet count, reply count, and the tweet URL. Media attachments are recorded as URLs, not downloaded.

What's the difference between Profile and Search mode?

Profile mode pulls the latest tweets from a single account. Search mode pulls the latest tweets across X that match your query — regardless of who posted them.

Can I scrape protected or private accounts?

No — only public accounts and tweets visible without logging in are supported. Protected accounts return zero results and credits are refunded.

How far back does the scraper go?

Up to the most recent 200 tweets per run. For older history, X's search index limits results — very old tweets may not appear even in search mode.

Does it include replies and quote tweets?

Yes — replies and quote tweets are included in the profile timeline and show the parent tweet ID when applicable, so you can reconstruct threads.
